Calenware values and respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect your information when using our Platform.

This is a free beta version and we are committed to full transparency about data handling.

Browsing Data (Non-Identifiable)

We automatically collect anonymous browsing data through analytics tools:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Browser type and operating system
• Visit origin (traffic source)
• Most accessed calendars
• Peak access times

Important: This data is aggregated and anonymous, not allowing personal identification.

Synchronization Data

When you sync a calendar:

• We do not store your email or personal data
• We do not track which events you add to your personal calendar
• We have no access to the content of your Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook

Synchronization works via public URL of the .ics file. You download the file directly, without server intermediation.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to:

• Maintain language preferences
• Remember recently visited calendars (browser local storage)
• Traffic analysis via Google Analytics

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some functionalities may be affected.

3. How We Use Data

Anonymous data collected is used exclusively to:

• Improve user experience
• Identify most popular calendars
• Optimize Platform performance
• Plan new features and event sources
• Product growth and metrics analysis

We never sell, rent or share data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Third-Party Source Data

Calenware collects public event information from external websites (Third-Party Sources).

Important: We do not control the privacy policies of these sources. If an event contains personal data (e.g., speaker name), the responsibility lies with the original source, not Calenware.

We recommend checking the privacy policies of original sources if you have concerns about specific event information.

5. Data Sharing

Calenware does not share personally identifiable data because we do not collect it.

Anonymous aggregated data may be shared with:

• Google Analytics: for traffic analysis (anonymous data)
• Hosting services: necessary for Platform operation (no personal data)

In case of legal requirement (court order), we may provide access logs to competent authorities.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect collected data:

• Encrypted HTTPS connection
• Statically served .ics files (no personal data processing)
• Restricted access to server logs
• Vulnerability monitoring

However, no system is 100% secure. Use the Platform at your own risk.
